2012 Conference Information for Presenters
INFORMATION FOR PRESENTERS
CONFERENCE PROGRAM
A preliminary program will be published on this web site early in December, 2011. Remember that you must have pre-registered for the conference by November 21st to be included in the final program. The final program will be distributed at the conference in the registration package and can be picked up at the registration desk beginning 5:30p.m., Wednesday, February 15th – Friday, February 17th.
FORMAT/LENGTH OF PRESENTATIONS
In paper sessions, each presenter will have up to fifteen minutes in which to present his/her work. There will be additional time for discussion. Fifty minutes will be allotted for workshops. That includes the presentation and discussion.
PRESENTATION ROOMS
Each presentation room will be equipped with an LCD projector, a computer and a screen. Bring your presentation to the meeting on a USB Drive. Standard overhead projectors will be available for presenters who prefer to use overheads. Presenters requiring any additional equipment should plan to bring it with them.
CONFERENCE PUBLICATIONS
Individuals whose proposals are accepted for presentation are encouraged to prepare their presentation in journal form for the Web Journal and/or for consideration for publication in the AABSS refereed journal. Manuscripts must be submitted to the authors by March 12th, 2012. See "Journals" page for more information. The AABSS Journal will be published during the months following the conference and distributed to all conferees.
