The Hotel
The conference will be held at Harrah's Hotel and Casino, located at 3475 Las Vegas Boulevard South, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Harrah's is a resort destination located near the center of the Las Vegas Strip.

Convention Sleeping Room Rate
Harrah's offers two options for AABSS conferees:

  1. Classic (Run of House) - $49.00 per night, single or double occupancy.
    2. The spacious Classic Room offers one king or two queen beds. Features include TV with Pay-Per-View movies, mini bar, Internet access (nominal fee), 24 hr room service, iron/board, and hair dryer.
  2. Deluxe - $69.00 per night, single or double occupancy.
    3. These premium rooms are outfitted with pillow-top beds, dual plasma TVs, granite countertops and marble showers.
Rates are subject to Clark County Room Tax, currently twelve percent (12%.) Additional persons will be charged at the rate of $30 per person, per night, plus tax, with a maximum of four persons per guest room. Convention rates apply from Monday, February 13th through Friday, February 17th.

To Make a Reservation
Call the Reservations Department at Harrah's Las Vegas at 888-458-8471 on or before the group cut-off date of Friday, January 13th, 2012. Individuals must identify themselves as part of the AABSS Group to receive the special Group rate. All reservations must be guaranteed with a deposit for the first night’s guestroom and tax charge. If reservation is guaranteed to a credit card, the first night’s guestroom and tax charge, per guestroom, will be billed immediately to the cardholder’s account.

Each guestroom must have at least one registered guest 21 years of age or older.

Check-in time is 4:00PM and check-out time is 11:00AM. Any departures after 11:00AM are subject to the full days charge. Early arrival and late departures may be requested at the applicable Group rate at the time the reservation is submitted.

Harrah's accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or Diner's Club.

HOTEL RESERVATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED ON OR BEFORE JANUARY 13, 2012.
After that date the AABSS' block will be released, and reservations will be on a space availability basis only and at the prevailing rate. If the AABSS block is filled before the deadline, and there are any rooms in the hotel, you will be charged the higher hotel rate.

Cancellation Policy
A room not cancelled seventy-two (72) hours prior to the attendee’s scheduled arrival date will automatically be charged a cancellation fee of one night's occupancy at the contracted rate. Any remaining nights of a "no-show" reservation will be cancelled.

Transportation
Harrah's is approximately twenty minutes drive from the McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. Taxi, limousine and bus services are readily available.
